Good morning, guys. Before we get to Saturday Surfing, I just wanted to say that if you or anyone you know is affected by the Carr Fire in Shasta County, we’re thinking of you here at Casa MBB. As you know, my in-laws lived in Redding for years (they moved back to Hawaii two months ago), and we still have family there. Stay safe. Right now I have ramen noodles instead of arms. Sure, hosting the Cat Academy Awards tonight would have been fun. Tabs would have loved seeing Viggo Mortensen and Lady Gaga again, and it’s been a while since he got a good swag bag… But if you’ve been to one awards show, you’ve been to them all, and Tabs really did want to finish crocheting the sweater he’s been making for his junior assistant. Still, it’s hard not to reminisce about the old days on a night like tonight. As the winningest cat actor in Cat Academy Awards history, Tabs has five Cat Oscars, but it would have been nice...

This being NARS we’re talking about (because even my glam granny knows that NARS has a thing for naughtily named makeup), I’m pretty sure the new NARS Climax Mascara was named after the big “O,” but can we pretend François was inspired by Klymaxx’s Meeting in the Ladies Room?
