Working at the bakery has been such a blessing in so many ways, makeup and otherwise. I’ve been learning so many new things, and the loneliness I’ve felt for a long time is finally starting to leave. In terms of makeup, though, my goodness! — the 15-minute window I typically have now to don my face paint in the mornings has been the catalyst for all manner of shortcuts. OK, now…I’m going to start doing something that may sound kinda cray to my fellow lovers of lotions and other beauty products, a.k.a. MY PEOPLE, but I don’t think I’m going to keep beauty backups around anymore. Dude. Target on the weekends before Christmas is freakin’ Battle Royale, especially if you park your booty in the middle of the aisle to take some pics of these hair styling tools from Kristin Ess. (No joke, I was almost run over at least three times.) The line is from Lauren Conrad’s hair gal, and some of the products are available at Tar-ghay now. I’ve tried a few of them so far, and overall…I think they’re OK. I do like how these look, though, with the white and pale rose gold accents. It’s very T3-esque. The products range from $50...
