I just joined CenterUp (@GetCentUp). This guys collect donations from the posts you like, and then split them equally between the site owner and several charities. I love the idea so I have asked for join… and here I am, although I do not consider myself a “talented digital creator”, I think that Science is Beauty could fit in the schema.
So from now on, if you like the content of this site, you can do something else than just rebloging or sharing on your favorites social networks: simply click on the CenterUp button (you’ll find at the end of each entry), make a micropayment, and many people including me and probably yourself, will feel a little better…
More info:
- You have to set up an account, and put a minimum of $10 into it, after that you can choose how much to donate.
- You may choose the organization by default where your money will go to, in my case I selected Pencils of Promise (a for-purpose organization that builds schools, trains teachers and funds scholarships).
- You can also donate directly to Science is Beauty, sharing remains in the same proportions.
